A+ A- A

Product Description

Zils is the largest area in Iberian Peninsula for location of industrial or logistics units which already includes some of the largest national and foreign companies.

Besides infrastructure availability, a unique combination of utilities, resources and services can be found within the area.
All industrial sectors are likely to settle in Zils. This flexibility is cumulative with a business model that seeks to adjust the investment lifetime to the necessary land and industrial building funding.

Zils’ offer includes:

  • Industrial Land - 11 areas dedicated to industrial activity and logistics, over 2,000 hectares;
  • ZalSines, the Logistics Activities Zone, which is part of the Portugal Logístico project;
  • Business Centre providing offices and meeting or conference rooms either for already established clients or clients in process of setting up their business and service providers as well.

The increasing demand for the installation of industrial and logistics activities in Sines reinforced the need of an Urbanization Plan to Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone.

PUZILS - Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone Urban Plan, was established under the Decree - Law No. 380/99 of September 22, as amended and republished by Decree-Law No. 316/2007 of September 19, valid from November 8, 2008.

Covering a 4157 hectares area, representing 21% of the total municipality area of Sines and mostly managed by aicep Global Parques, the PUZILS represents an important point in the changes context on the Municipal Master Plan.

The plan's main objectives are:

Coordinate the industrial growth with the need to improve and protect the environment;

Balancing the responsibilities of those involved to ensure the viability of operations and equity rules;

Establish standards for use and land allocation considering the industrial vocation of the area, its economic potential for fixing productive structures in the nationally and internationally context; Establish guidelines for the framing of industrial and logistic areas and its infrastructures.
