Sines Industrial and Logistic Zone (ZILS) is supplied with drinkable and industrial water and is served by systems for drainage and forwarding of pluvial, domestic and industrial effluents as well as saline water.

ZILS includes areas with properly infrastructured lots and areas whose infrastructures will be adjusted to investor´s needs.

The currently allotted areas ensure immediate access to the water supply and the sanitation networks, whose installed capacities can be consulted by accessing the lot data sheet. The presented technical characteristics are part of a “base service”, which can be improved after analysis and positive technical opinion of aicep Global Parques and related licensing entities.

Águas de Santo André, S.A. (AdSA) is the responsible entity for water supply, treatment of effluents and collection of industrial solid waste on Sines Industrial and Logistic Zone (ZILS).

The drinkable and industrial water distribution to ZILS’ industries is achieved through gravity in both cases but the industrial water supply has it’s own distribution network, independent from the drinkable water supply.

The waste water sanitation system includes collection, quality control, transportation and treatment of industrial waste water and saline water, resulting from ZILS.

In order to ensure the quality of the provided services and the compliance to legal parameters for supplied water, as well as the admissibility conditions to the draining system, AdSA takes regular monitoring actions.
