ZalSines, the Logistics Activities Zone is an important part of the "Portugal Logístico” project. Integrating Sines port and Zils - Industrial and Logistics Zone of Sines, it is a modern logistic plataform with high strategic potential for the location of added value services.

ZalSines, located over a wide area, has logistics capability and additional land availability to be developed under a flexible phased plan. Zils is oriented to the installation of industrial and service companies, being served by a high capacity road-rail system which integrates with one of the Trans-European Transport Network main multimodal axis.

The area allocated to the development of ZalSines includes two zones: one located at the intra-port and the other outside the port. The first is managed by Port of Sines, (over 30ha), and the second is under aicep Global Parques’ management (over 215ha).
